Schneider Electric: Invitation to the Schneider Go Green Competition!

We are pleased to inform you about the Schneider Go Green global competition , which is supported by the Youth Education and Entrepreneurship Program and the Schneider Electric Energy Access Program. This competition provides an exceptional opportunity for students and young entrepreneurs to develop innovative business models that focus on clean and affordable solutions for renewable energy sources, with the aim of improving the lives of local communities.

Challenge topic:

Renewable Energy for Life & Livelihood
We focus on two key areas:

• Solar Power Agriculture : Creating solutions that use energy from solar sources for pre/post-harvest, storage and processing activities.
• Solar Powered Microbusinesses : Innovations in retail, service, cooling and manufacturing that use solar energy.

Benefits for students:

• Cooperation and mentorship : Working with like-minded people and mentors, gaining invaluable experience and knowledge.
• Learning and development : Access to the Schneider Electric University platform that offers training on energy transition and sustainability, preparing students for careers in industry.
• Prize money : Prize fund of €10,000 (1st place: €6,000; 2nd place: €2,500; 3rd place: €1,500). Winning teams will receive a solar power generation kit and mentoring sessions with experts from Schneider Electric.

How to get involved:

1. Individual Registration : Students can register by submitting their resumes via [registration link]. After that, they will be sent instructions for forming teams and submitting project proposals.
2. Formation of teams : Teams consist of 2-4 members.
3. Submission of project proposals : Teams should present a renewable energy solution with a positive impact on the environment and communities.
4. Project development and submission : 10 selected teams continue to develop their idea and present a business case with the support of a mentor from Schneider Electric.
5. Global Finals : The top three teams present their solutions in the global finals, where a global winner will be selected.

Important dates:

• Start of registration : April 1, 2025.
• Deadline for forming teams : May 31, 2025.
• Deadline for submitting project proposals : June 30, 2025.
